The Pearce Crafters Market , located in the leafy inner suburb of Pearce ACT, is a gathering of wonderful crafters and artisans from across the region. This bespoke market offers our customers delightful bespoke items, crafted with care and experience.
It was born through a group of local crafters and artisans who were affected by many of our usual markets closing due to COVID.
So what started as a great idea to run a one off-market which would help us sell our stock and recoup some market income, has blossomed into the wonderful markets that you see today.
Every market in Canberra is unique and has something special to offer. We believe that the Pearce Crafters Market stands out as a market which showcases some of the best talent in the region. With many fabulous stalls, our crafters and artisans are hand-picked by the committee who work to choose stalls and products that are the best the region has to offer.
Why we do what we do
Our market runs over four weekends a year, covering each season. With 29 specially selected stallholders providing high quality handmade items. On the Saturday of our market, we team up with the wonderful people from Rotary Woden Daybreak Club who host an outdoor market on the grounds, while our market takes place inside the community centre, providing visitors with a larger market experience. Both days you will find not only gorgeous handcrafted items, but also food, tea, coffee and live music. It’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend supporting small business and locals.
